Overview
As an SME Account Executive at Clear Group, you’ll play a key role in managing and developing a portfolio of clients. You’ll deliver tailored insurance solutions, strengthen client relationships, and help drive the success of our SME and specialist Audio & Visual Scheme. Your ability to identify new opportunities, provide expert advice, and offer outstanding service will be central to achieving growth and maintaining client loyalty.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Client Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, act as the main point of contact, and keep portfolios relevant through regular reviews.
* Business Development: Identify new opportunities, generate leads, and support growth by offering bespoke commercial insurance solutions.
* Renewals & Policy Management: Manage renewals, negotiate competitive terms, and ensure policies continue to meet client needs.
* Compliance & Risk: Adhere to FCA regulations and Consumer Duty requirements, maintaining accurate records and providing regulatory guidance.
* Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across teams, share insights, and contribute to improving service standards.
* Market Engagement: Keep up to date with market trends and build strong relationships with insurers and key industry contacts.
What You’ll Bring
* Experience in the insurance industry, particularly within commercial insurance and E-Trade package policies.
* Strong knowledge of insurance products, markets, and underwriting processes.
* Confidence using insurance platforms and client management systems.
* Proven ability to develop new business and manage existing client relationships effectively.
* Good understanding of FCA regulations, Consumer Duty, and compliance standards.
* Cert CII qualification (or a commitment to working towards it, with support provided).
* Experience using Acturis or similar systems for policy management and client communication.
