Salary commences at £35,000 increasing to £36,000 plus monthly performance related bonus of 10%.
Working in healthcare and looking for a change? If you’re a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic, you could use your skills in a different way as a disability assessor.
You will undertake training for the first 6 weeks in all aspects of working as a Nurse Assessor and after this, you will, from the comfort of your own home, conduct clinical assessments for claimants who are making a claim for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP).
Recognised by the governing councils so able to maintain your NMC / HCPC pin from the comfort of your own home!

What will I be doing?
* Conducting paper-based assessments to evaluate how a claimant’s/customer’s health condition or disability affects their day-to-day life.
* Reviewing and reporting on an individual’s ability to carry out activities.
* Analysing and interpreting clinical information and supporting evidence.
* Creating three reports of the evidence gathered for each claimant each day.
* Ensuring enough detail, evidence and justification are given to support the DfC or DWP in making decisions.
* Developing your clinical knowledge.
What do I need?
* Post-qualification 12 months experience in one of the following: Nurse, Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or OT.
* Have an active registration with NMC/HCPC with no restrictions on practice.
* No previous Disability Assessor experience is required as training is provided.
