Your new role
Principal Accountabilities
* Assist in overseeing a portfolio of Business Advisory and Corporate Finance projects
* Provide support to colleagues on technical issues and ensure high-quality work
* Prepare financial projections for businesses
* Assist in the preparation of business plans and due diligence reports
* Identify and investigate key issues in potential target businesses for acquisition
* Prepare Independent Business Reviews
* Conduct analysis and interrogate financial models
* Engage in financial analysis and report writing
* Advise businesses on cost reduction and working capital management
* Manage financial aspects of client portfolios, including budgeting and monitoring project costs
* Plan, monitor, and complete team work; deputise for managers when needed
* Provide coaching and mentoring to less experienced colleagues
* Ensure all reports and correspondence meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
* Expand professional network and develop client relationships
* Act as liaison within the firm and participate in marketing events
* Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
* Qualified Chartered or Certified Accountant (ACA or ACCA)
* Minimum 1 year of experience in Business Advisory/Corporate Finance
* Financial modeling skills and experience in financial projections
* Strong client service skills and ability to meet deadlines
* Analytical skills to identify key issues
* Knowledge of regulatory and statutory requirements
* Organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Team player with adaptability and a commitment to development
* Attention to detail and ability to add value through commercial awareness
