Job Description
* Lead the design and rollout of employment policies that are clear, compliant, and easy to use.
* Provide expert guidance on employee relations, helping managers navigate complex situations with confidence.
* Collaborate with HR teams and leaders to embed people practices into everyday operations.
* Use data and feedback to spot trends, improve processes, and shape future policy direction.
* Deliver training and resources that build understanding and capability across the organisation.
* Stay ahead of legal and workplace trends to ensure policies remain relevant and effective.
* Support a culture of fairness, accountability, and continuous improvement in all things HR.
* Manage a team of uo to five people
The Successful Applicant
* Have a strong background in HR policy and employee relations, ideally in a complex or unionised setting.
* Know how to turn legal requirements into practical, people-friendly guidance.
* Are confident managing sensitive issues and providing strategic advice to senior leaders.
* Enjoy working collaboratively and building strong relationships across teams.
* Are analytical, organised, and always looking for ways to improve how things are done.
* Hold a relevant qualification (e.g. CIPD) or have equivalent experience.
* Has managed a small or large team before
