Whether you're an experienced educator or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact across Key Stages 3 and 4. The position offers flexibility, with both part-time and full-time options available depending on your availability.
About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging and effective lessons in English Language and Literature, tailored to a range of abilities.
Inspire students to develop a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking.
Plan and assess learning to ensure strong academic progress across all key stages.
Foster a positive classroom environment with clear expectations and strong behaviour management.
Contribute to the English department's curriculum planning and enrichment activities.
What We're Looking For:
To be considered for this role, you should:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards it as an ECT with an English specialism.
Have experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (A-Level experience is a bonus).
Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and strong communication skills.
Be enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to student development and success.
Be confident managing classroom behaviour and creating a supportive learning environment.
Please note: All candidates will be required to provide two years of references and complete an enhanced DBS check. The role is subject to satisfactory safeguarding and background checks.
