We are currently looking for a Field Sales Executive to join our client, who manufacture specialist equipment. You will be joining our client’s sales team and help to contribute to their continued growth.
Responsibilities
* Identify and develop sales opportunities for a range of specialist equipment leading to company growth. Examples of specialist equipment are below.
* Respond to client enquiries, visit clients to advise and discuss specific requirements and liaise with the office to provide quotations.
* Research new markets and possible projects.
* Work with the UK Sales Manager to ensure that all enquiries are responded to in a professional and efficient manner.
Skills and Experience
* Experience of covering a large sales territory with travel throughout the UK.
* Proven experience working with capital equipment—ideally in technical or practical environments where high-value machinery or equipment is involved.
* You will ideally have previous experience within a similar role with a technical / practical background and experience of a consultative selling role.
* Project-based sales experience including site measuring surveys using manual measuring tools (e.g., tape measures).
* Experience of providing sales and technical presentations to user groups, consultants, and specifiers.
* Experience of selling into NHS, funeral services, mortuary, crematorium, cemetery, pathology, laboratory, universities etc. would be advantageous.
* Experience of selling any of the following equipment would be beneficial: refrigeration, washing and sterilising equipment, fume cupboards, ventilation systems, biological safety cabinets, stretchers, trolleys, autopsy and dissecting equipment, body storage equipment etc.
What You Can Expect In Return
* A basic salary of £35,000
* On Target Earnings of £46,000
* A company car (Audi A3 or similar)
