Randstad are partnered with a company based in Crawley who are on the lookout for a Project Manager on a permanent basis. The company work in the office on a hybrid basis, mainly 2 days in the office, but they do need someone who is happy to travel to customer sites around the UK.
They need someone who can work closely with their software development team and the engineers who are based around the UK. They also need someone who is capable dealing with customers and explaining their requests / desires to the software engineers.
Core responsibilities will involve, but not limited to:
1. Create and maintain effective project plans
2. Establish and maintain strong relationships and communication with all stakeholders
3. Implement and maintain effective change control and risk management processes
4. Monitor and control project budgets
5. Produce regular, comprehensive project reports for internal and external stakeholders
Key skills and experience
6. Experience of project managing teams of engineers, developers and consultants
7. Experience of software development lifecycles would be an advantage
8. Experience in both waterfall and agile environments
9. Competent using Microsoft Project or similar Project Management tools
10. Experience managing the entire project lifecycle
