Location: Galleon Leisure Centre 99 Titchfield Street Kilmarnock, KA1 1QY

Rate: £14.83 - £15.53 per hour pro rata

Contract Type: Supply/Casual/Relief

Job Purpose

Your enthusiasm and passion for delivering aquatic programmes and assisting with the day-to-day operations of high-quality leisure facilities will be driven by a commitment to deliver outstanding services that are valued and embedded in local community life, improving the enjoyment, health, and wellbeing of local people. Contributing to the provision and design of innovative and modern activities and multi-sports venues, you will enhance opportunities for our venues to flourish by maximising capacity and becoming a thriving, customer-focused facility. Your key tasks and areas of responsibility are outlined in the attached document. Please see the attached Job Specification which outlines all responsibilities and duties for this post. Rate of Pay

Rate of Pay: £14.83 - £15.53 per hour

Hours of work are on an 'as and when required' basis within the Galleon Leisure Centre, Kilmarnock. Applicants must be available to work evenings and weekends.

Additional Information

We follow the national guidance in relation to pre-employment checks namely “Safer Recruitment Through Better Recruitment”. The reference from your current or most recent employer must be from an appropriate senior manager, not a peer at the same level.

The duties of the post involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a PVG Scheme member or be updated if already a member, before any formal employment offer. PVG records are constantly updated, and any relevant information disclosed will be discussed with the applicant prior to any formal offer.
