Academics are working with a number of excellent secondary schools across Essex who are seeking talented MFL Teachers to join their teams in April 2026, or earlier if available.
As a MFL Teacher in Southend, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons across MFL at KS3-KS4, supporting a range of learners and contributing to a strong sense of community within your school. Youll be joining a network of Southampton schools that value collaboration, creativity, and continuous professional development.
Job Overview:
We are looking for a strong MFL Teacher delivering KS3-4 lessons.
Strong subject knowledge in one or more MFL disciplines.
Full time working hours Mon-Fri.
Duration: potential to be up until the Summer.
You will be teaching children with difficult behaviour, so experience within this field would be beneficial but not mandatory.
What do they expect of you?
Clear, concise methods of teaching.
Have a genuine passion for making a difference to children learning languages.
Proven experience teaching in Secondary school with Key stage 3-4.
UK-recognised teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) OR 4+ years experience working within a secondary school overseas.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
Flexible, adaptable, and passionate about education.
Driven to improve the education and life choices of young people.
Be a positive role model and offer encouragement & promote confidence.
