As a Deputy Service Manager for our Supported Living services at our client, you will support adults with learning disabilities to live the best life possible. About the Role

Alongside the Service Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for monitoring, maintaining, and delivering the highest standards of clinical and personal support. You will promote independence, choice, and person-centred care across the service.

You will support the Service Manager in ensuring delivery of key quality and safety priorities, holding delegated responsibility for aspects of the day-to-day running of the supported living services. This includes direct supervision and line management of a team of support workers.

As a senior team member, you will promote and lead best practice at all times. You will ensure the people we support and colleagues are safe, well-supported, and treated with dignity and respect. You will act as an exemplary role model, championing high standards and continuous improvement.

Flexibility is essential in this role. You will:

Participate in on-call duties outside normal office hours

Work 20% of your total weekly hours on shift across your assigned services

Role model support worker duties and responsibilities in practice

Maintain consistent feedback loops with the Service Manager to ensure quality, learning, and smooth operational delivery

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Significant, recent front-line management experience within learning disabilities services (regulated services experience essential)

Experience that may include being a Registered Manager

Knowledge of relevant legislation, CQC regulations, and Health & Safety requirements

Strong IT skills and experience maintaining accurate records

A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or a Level 3 qualification with willingness to complete the Level 5 apprenticeship within 18 months

Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage people effectively, particularly in performance management

A compassionate, values-driven approach to leadership
