We are seeking a welder to join our dynamic afternoon shift team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in welding various metal components. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as a solid understanding of the industry. Responsibilities
* Weld metal components according to specifications and drawings.
* Weld parts and structures using various welding techniques.
* Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
Experience
* Proven experience in welding or a related field is preferred.
* Competence in using various hand tools and power tools effectively.
* Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations are essential.
* Experience with a variety of welding processes.
