The British Ironwork Centre is seeking a meticulous and reliable Data Entry Clerk to join our team. This role will be crucial in ensuring the accurate and efficient recording of important information.
This is a fully remote position with the ideal candidate residing locally to the British Ironwork Centre for occasional collection of physical paperwork.
About the Role:
As our Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately inputting various types of data into our digital systems. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Efficiently and accurately entering data from physical and digital documents into designated databases and spreadsheets.
* Verifying data for accuracy and completeness, identifying and correcting any errors.
* Maintaining confidentiality and security of all data.
* Organising and managing digital records effectively.
* Occasional travel to the British Ironwork Centre will be required for the collection of physical paperwork.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in data entry or a similar administrative role.
* Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity.
* Proficiency in using computer systems and data entry software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets).
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote setting.
* Reliable internet access and a suitable home working environment.
Hours: Part-time, with flexible hours to be agreed upon (please indicate your availability in your application).
Pay: Pay-per-piece, £12.21 per 60 entries (Approx 1 minute per entry)
