As a Graduate Teaching Assistant (Grad TA), you will support teachers and students across a range of subjects and year groups. You will play a key role in maintaining a positive learning environment and helping students reach their full potential. Graduate Teaching Assistant Responsibilities: Support students in small groups or on a 1:1 basis to reinforce learning Assist teachers in managing classroom behaviour and preparing learning materials Encourage student engagement and participation during lessons Provide academic and emotional support to pupils Support students across school’s Key Stages, including those with additional needs Supervise students during non-classroom time (e.g., lunch and breaks) Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) where necessary Requirements for Graduate TA: A recent Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (in Education, Psychology, English, Maths, Science or related fields) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Passionate about working with children and young people Previous experience in a school, tutoring, coaching, or mentoring role is desirable A proactive and flexible attitude to work in a dynamic school environment An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one Why Join GSL Education?
