We are looking for an Account Director to work with our client.
Summary
An Account Director is responsible for leading the end-to-end process of planning and implementing advertising and communications campaigns. They work with marketing, creative, production, strategy, finance, and external partners at each stage of a project, ensuring every team plays their part from brief through to delivery.
* Strong campaign management skills, experienced at managing multiple projects end to end
* Ability to understand strategic purpose of a project and how that contributes to brand growth
* Experience in through-the-line communications – managing integrated 360 campaigns across multiple media formats
* Manage all deliverables typical of an integrated advertising and communications campaign
* Strong relationship building skills – trust, collaboration, knowledge, and motivating team members
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident presenter to stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally
* Financial acumen and rigor in managing the account’s day-to-day operations
* Experience working in fast-changing environments, managing multi-stakeholder marketing teams with varying seniority; pan-market experience is beneficial
Day-to-day responsibilities
* Write status reports and check work against briefs
* Agree on the brief with marketing to ensure proper reception by the agency and involved stakeholders
* Organize internal briefing sessions, including working with strategy to develop briefs for internal teams
* Partner with Creative Directors and Executive Producers to enable successful delivery of world-class creative
* Coordinate resources, project plans, and budgets to deliver the brief
* Manage client communications regarding project progress, issue resolution, meeting reports, and expectation management
* Lead client presentations for creative stages, gather feedback, and define next steps
* Oversee end-to-end campaign delivery from brief to completion
* Monitor project progression, ensuring timely delivery within budget and aligned with the original brief
* Escalate key issues and blockers to senior management and facilitate resolution involving relevant stakeholders
* Maintain financial discipline, support reporting, and track budgets and retainer agreements
* Collaborate with marketing to plan upcoming projects, communicate priorities, delays, and issues
* Lead relationships with media and third-party vendors to ensure effective collaboration
