About the Role
We’re looking for a seasoned Sr. Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager to lead the performance and reliability of offshore wind turbine assets. As part of a leading OEM in the offshore wind sector, you’ll play a critical role in managing service operations, ensuring safety compliance, and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the O&M of offshore wind turbines, ensuring high availability and performance.
* Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies to reduce downtime.
* Manage and mentor technicians and service engineers, ensuring strict HSE compliance.
* Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure service excellence.
* Analyze turbine performance data to identify trends, improve reliability, and optimize schedules.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, grid codes, and contractual obligations.
* Oversee budgets, resource planning, and spare parts inventory for efficient operations.
* Support continuous improvement through best practices, training, and technical development.
* Coordinate unit installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance activities.
* Manage fault recovery, major repairs, inspections, and issue resolution.
* Oversee daily management and training of project engineering personnel.
* Coordinate safety, cost, quality, progress, and logistics management for the project.
* Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with project stakeholders and customers.
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in offshore wind turbine O&M, preferably with an OEM or service provider.
* Strong knowledge of wind turbine systems, SCADA, and remote diagnostics.
* Leadership experience managing technical teams and offshore personnel.
* Solid understanding of offshore HSE standards, LOLER, PUWER, and GWO certifications.
* Familiar with CMMS and data-driven maintenance strategies.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
* GWO, BOSIET, or equivalent offshore certifications required.
