Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for an experienced Art Teacher who: Holds QTS and a relevant degree in Art, Fine Art, or Art & Design. Has a proven track record of delivering outstanding lessons and achieving excellent results. Is skilled at teaching Art and Design across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Brings creativity, passion, and technical expertise to inspire students at all levels. Can collaborate with other Art Teachers to develop a dynamic and engaging curriculum. Is proactive in contributing to the wider school community, including leading extracurricular activities such as art exhibitions and trips. About the Role As an experienced Art Teacher, your responsibilities will include: Delivering high-quality Art and Design lessons to students in Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, with opportunities for A-Level teaching. Designing and implementing a diverse curriculum that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and artistic exploration. Mentoring and supporting less experienced Art Teachers, sharing best practices, and contributing to the department’s development. Assessing student work, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring excellent outcomes for all students. Taking an active role in organising extracurricular activities, such as art clubs, exhibitions, and community art projects.
