This role as a Receptionist at Avery Healthcare in Downend offers a unique opportunity to be a part of a supportive, caring, and inspiring environment. Main duties of the job

As a Receptionist at Avery Healthcare, your primary responsibilities will include answering phone calls, redirecting inquiries to the appropriate staff, and maintaining administrative records. You will also be tasked with ensuring the reception area is well-organized and presentable, working closely with the Housekeeping team to uphold high standards. Your excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and ability to problem-solve will be key in providing a warm and supportive experience for all who interact with the home.

Your focus as a receptionist will be to offer professional, high quality customer service as first point of contact within the home as well as providing a range of administrative services.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

* Answering the telephone and responding to enquiries at reception, redirecting calls to relevant staff and recording messages accordingly.
* Completingreception-related administration,maintainingdatabases,and providing administrativeassistanceas required by the General Manager.
* Maintainingthe general tidiness of the reception area, liaising with Housekeeping to ensure standards aremaintained.

Qualifications

* To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be confident in using computers. A positive, friendly, and welcoming attitude is essential, as is previous experience in problem-solving and handling client complaints.
