Designer Recruitment are seeking a Design Assistant or Assistant Designer for a well-knownkitchen retailer in Nottingham. Thisrole would suit a graduate designer with some good initial experience/exposure already obtained in the home/kitchen design retail market. This is a permanent position with ongoing training paying £27,000 - £29,000. Working schedule can be 3, 4 or 5 days per week. Duties of theDesign Assistant: Usinginternal systems including CRM reporting tools efficiently (training will be provided) Supporting the Showroom Manager with ordering processes/liaising with their manufacturing facilityand completion of technical drawings for customer/client projects Lead taking, booking design appointments and presenting designs to clients/customers Administration support for showroom lead marketing activities Engaging with walk-in customers and ensuring thecustomers receive the highest level of customer service Answering the phone and dealing with daily enquiries and customer/client enquiries throughout a project Ensuring the showroom is maintained to a high level of cleanliness Requirement of the Design Assistant: Customer service experience Basic knowledge of design using CAD software Proactive with a desire to learn and develop in the role Strong attention to detail Ability to prioritise work and manage multiple tasks Good communication and presentation skills and IT literate Ability to work as part of a team and independently Personable, friendly and confident with a can do attitude Driving Licence (preferred) What's on Offer: Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 pro rata to 3-4 days Company pension (after three months) Perkbox discount scheme for hundreds of high-street retailers 25 days holiday a year plus bank holidays pro rata 3-4 days Free hot drinks Opportunity for ongoing training and development Access to wellbeing services and an Employee Assistance Programme which provides access to 24/7 counselling and support helpline Designer Recruitment are acting as the employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
