Financial Planner | Poole, Dorset | £60,000 to £85,000 + Path to Director of Financial Planning

Life Matters is looking for an experienced Financial Planner, or a strong Associate Planner ready to step up, to join our growing team in Poole.
This is a relationship-led role. You'll work with an established bank of HNW clients, supported by an experienced team, with the time and autonomy to deliver high-quality financial planning.

The Role
You'll take ownership of existing HNW client relationships, helping clients make informed decisions and achieve their long-term goals.
New business generation is not the focus of this role. Your focus is the quality and depth of client relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of HNW clients
- Running planning and review meetings
- Supporting new client onboarding alongside the Managing Director
- Creating and presenting financial plans and recommendations
- Participating in the Investment Committee
- Working alongside clients' legal and tax advisers
- Supporting colleagues with technical guidance and development
- Maintaining excellent compliance standards
About You
You'll ideally have:
- 5+ years in financial services
- At least 2 years as a Financial Adviser / IFA
- Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4)
- Experience using cashflow modelling tools such as Voyant or Truth
- Strong understanding of Consumer Duty, AML, SPS and CPD requirements
- Excellent relationship-building, listening and communication skills
- A collaborative, growth-minded approach
- An interest in technology and innovation
- Advanced Diploma, Chartered or Certified Financial Planner status
- Experience advising HNW individuals, business owners or retirees
