Care Support Worker – UK Visa Sponsorship Available
Position Summary
We are looking for a caring and committed Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing high quality care and assistance to individuals in a variety of settings including senior care, supported living and home care settings. This position needs a strong dedication to improving the quality of life for our clients via personal care, companionship and help with everyday activities.
Position Description
* Assist clients with personal care, including washing, grooming and clothing.
* Assist clients with meal prep and dietary needs.
* Help in taking medications and following treatment plans as prescribed.
* Engage clients in activities that support mental and emotional health.
* Use behaviour management tactics as necessary to successfully help clients.
* Transport people to appointments/social events as needed.
* Keep accurate records of client care and report any changes in health or behaviour to appropriate personnel.
* Create a secure, supportive environment for all clients, respecting their dignity and privacy.
Skills
* Experience in caring for the elderly or in home care is extremely desirable.
* Knowledge with home care procedures and assisted living settings is preferred.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to create connection with customers and their families.
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
* Ability to operate as a team member and individually.
* Driving licence valid preferred for transporting clients where required.
* Compassionate nature with a sincere desire to assist others in enhancing their quality of life.
