Warehouse Team Leader / Warehouse Shift Manager
Location: Stanford-Le-Hope | Full Time, Permanent
Hours: Mon-Fri 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm
Competitive Salary | Rotating Shifts (06:00–14:00 & 14:00–22:00)
We are hiring a Warehouse Shift Manager to join a leading freight forwarder at their Stanford-Le-Hope site. The successful candidate will operate on a rotating weekly shift pattern overseeing the companies receiving, storage, pick, pack and dispatch operations.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee and motivate the team of 7 warehouse operatives in order to hit targets.
* Oversee all warehouse activities (receiving & storage to picking, packing & dispatch)
* Keep inventory flawless with WMS & deliver regular performance reports
* Champion health & safety and compliance to keep our workplace secure
* Spot opportunities, solve problems, and make processes smoother & smarter
* Drive team training, briefings, and performance reviews to boost skills & morale
Job Requirements
* Experience in warehousing with 1–2 years in a supervisory or team leader role
* Strong leader with excellent communication & team motivation skills
* Knowledge of WMS with forklift certification and safe equipment operation
* Flexible, resilient, and safety-first with the ability to work rotating shifts & overtime
