As part ofthe Firm s growing program of work the Investment ManagementTechnology (IMT) is seeking an Equity Technology Program Manager(PM) to be based in the Boston office. The IMT team ensurestechnology project delivery is being effectively managed throughoutthe project life cycle. In addition the team provides keystakeholders updates through effective communication expertanalysis and quality customer service.
ThisPM role focuses on managing Investment Management (IM) andTechnology programs / projects spanning various technology groupssuch as development enterprise infrastructure data technology riskand governance teams. This opportunity will also provide theindividual with a chance to work with senior members of the firm todrive key business and technology initiatives and collaborateacross multiple locations.
Qualifications:
The candidate must have a BS degree
Minimumof 8 years professional experience preferably at a major consultingfirm or financial institution
Technology/technicalbackground/understanding preferable
Knowledge of thefinancial services industry; preferably in an investment bankwithin investment management with business business technology andproduct knowledge.
Excellent problemsolving skillsgoaloriented selfmotivated and adapts to changing situations andrequirements.
Experience working and leading withinlarge complex organizations.
Demonstrated ability todefine staff and mobilize large complex programs.
Extensive experience in project management of largecomplex programs and program portfolios.
Experiencecommunicating program portfolio level status including issues &risks to executives.
Strong stakeholder managementexperience working with executives (Clevel) and crossfunctionalteams.
Proven analytical and quantitative skills and anability to use data and metrics to support assumptions and developbusiness cases.
Strong ability to review and evaluateexisting program processes and recommend and lead theimplementation of improvements focused on automation and scale.
Overall experience in handson project managementspecifically in information technologyrelated projects essentialand preferably supporting financial services businesses.
Knowledge in gap remediation policy and governance wouldbe an advantage
Excellent verbal and written skill withability to create high quality written products that arecomprehensive accurate and tailored to the audience.
Outstanding interpersonal skills.
Ability towork effectively with all levels of the organization with excellentinfluencing and negotiation skills.
Strongorganizational skills and an ability to manage multiple demands andchanging priorities.
Solid understanding of the SoftwareDevelopment Lifecycle (SDLC).
Proficient in Agile/ScrumJIRA management MSProject MS Excel and general MSOffice skillsessential.
