Behaviour Support Assistant, Full Time, Hebburn
Pay: £89 to £110 per day, paid weekly
A welcoming SEND school in Hebburn is looking for a confident Behaviour Support Assistant who thrives when things get lively and loves helping pupils find their calm.
You’ll work with young people who need consistency, clear routines, and a trusted adult who sticks with them even on the tough days. The school is warm, structured, and absolutely committed to helping every pupil move forward at their own pace.
Your role will include
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Using de-escalation and positive behaviour strategies
• Helping pupils regulate emotions and stay engaged
• Working closely with the SEND team to personalise support
