About the Role
* As a dynamic and fast-growing accountancy firm with over 1,000 employees, we are seeking a Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Manager to join our innovative in-house Corporate Development team to support the Dains group’s growth.
* You will support the full transactional lifecycle, from identifying targets, nurturing relationships, to executing M&A activities, using a proactive and personable approach.

Key Responsibilities
* Market-mapping, identifying potential targets, supporting M&A pipeline delivery, and contacting targets.
* Analyzing target financials and due diligence information.
* Suggesting deal valuations and transaction structures.
* Building financial models and synergy cases to support transactions.
* Assisting with negotiations and drafting approval papers and offer documents.
* Coordinating due diligence and legal negotiations.
* Working closely with the M&A Director to manage risks and integration plans.
* Preparing pitch materials and presentations for management and boards.
* Building relationships with sell-side advisors and brokers.
* High exposure to senior leadership, including the CEO and Private Equity sponsors.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
* Education: ACA/ACCA qualification with at least three years’ experience in Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, or Private Equity.
* Technical Skills: Strong financial modeling and accounting skills; buy-side M&A experience is a plus.
* Communication Skills: Ability to build trusted relationships at all levels, including C-Suite.
* Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
* Work Under Pressure: Calm, positive, and energized by fast-paced environments.
* Motivated and Decisive: Proactive, with a clear understanding of company strategy and values.
