The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Site Agent to take the lead on a defined section of our works near Aylesbury, ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of major earthworks and formation construction.
You’ll report directly to the Project Manager, taking full ownership of programme, people, and commercial outcomes, supported by a capable engineering and commercial team who know how to deliver.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day delivery of large-scale cut & fill, stabilisation, and formation works
* Lead and develop site engineers and supervisors
* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental performance
* Oversee planning, sequencing, and resource allocation
* Work collaboratively with clients, designers, and subcontractors to achieve programme targets
* Ensure compliance with NEC contract requirements and company procedures
About You:
* Proven experience as a Site Agent or Senior Engineer on major civil or infrastructure projects
* Background in mass excavation, bulk earthworks, or heavy civils
* Strong technical understanding of GNSS survey and 3D machine control systems
* Confident managing people, programme, and cost
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
