As a major part of the council’s Delivery Programme, this is an exciting opportunity to lead the management of the Council’s estate to maximise income generation, and lead the asset reconfiguration programme, to support the Council’s transformation towards the Future Operating Model. The Property and Assets structure may be subject to review, and this may result in further changes to direct reports. Requirements A relevant degree or professional qualification relating to the delivery of commercial property and asset management functions, and evidence of continuing professional development. This would ideally include professional membership of RICS and/or Institute of Asset Management (IAM). Significant experience of leadership and management responsibilities. Professional knowledge of the legislation, policy and good practice guidance affecting the Asset Service.
