About the role
Working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, you’ll be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our commercial vehicle fleet & equipment. This includes both planned servicing and reactive repairs to keep everything running smoothly.
You will be responsible for:
Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on trailers, vehicles & plant
Diagnosing faults and finding practical solutions
Responding to breakdowns and urgent repair needs
Supporting the team with proactive upkeep of the fleet
Learning on the job (training will be provided for the right candidate)
You’ll be part of a supportive and hardworking team in Lerwick, where everyone plays a role in keeping our operations moving.
About you
You’ll ideally have experience in motor mechanics and a good understanding of vehicle systems. We’re looking for someone with a proactive attitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. If you’re organised, care about doing a good job, and enjoy solving problems, you’ll thrive here.
