The Role
As a Meeting & Events Executive, you’ll manage group and event enquiries from start to finish. From initial contact to post-event feedback, you’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure flawless execution and exceptional service — all while exceeding client expectations and driving repeat business.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and convert event & group enquiries from initial enquiry to post-event follow-up
*
Coordinate client requirements and confirm all event details in writing and verbally
*
Plan menus, room layouts, AV equipment, and service standards
*
Use hotel systems to maintain accurate and consistent bookings
*
Conduct engaging site visits and show rounds to win business
*
Maximise revenue through up-selling and smart space management
*
Maintain strong relationships with new and returning clients
*
Lead pre- and post-event briefings and reviews
*
Resolve issues professionally to ensure client satisfaction
*
Work in line with Marriott’s global brand standards
About You
We’re looking for a driven and detail-focused professional with:

Previous experience in a similar events role (preferred)
*
Hotel experience (essential)
*
Strong communication, sales, and negotiation skills
*
Excellent organisation and time management
*
Ability to build rapport and deliver excellent service
*
Confidence using Microsoft Office and hotel systems
*
A calm and proactive approach under pressure
