Paid Search Executive role at Tesco. Join the Media Planning and Performance Team to deliver best in class activation across paid media platforms. You will be responsible for planning, briefing and optimising Paid Search marketing activity to drive a relevant action to service Tesco shoppers.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Paid Search Manager in the day-to-day execution of Tesco’s Paid Search campaigns across Groceries, Marketplace and F&F with a focus on acquiring and optimising for new customers and growing revenue.
* Coordinate and manage the external agency while also supporting development and upskilling of internal team members.
* Deliver regular reporting and in-depth analysis on campaign performance, track competitor activity, and provide actionable insights to improve Paid Search efficiency.
* Lead all aspects of planning, execution, and optimisation of campaigns across key business areas (Food, General Merchandise, F&F), including monthly promotional campaigns and broader critical initiatives.
* Participate in internal campaign briefings, communicate channel strategies to partners, and provide performance updates post-campaign.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and business units to ensure flawless execution of activity aligned with overall business objectives.
* Collaborate closely with external tool providers, lead administrative tasks including raising and balancing purchase orders, and provide general team support.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a Paid Search role working in an agency or on the client side on a UK account.
* Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
* Experience in delivering inspiring briefs and feedback.
* Ability to develop impactful omnichannel communications and turn data into actionable insight.
* Experience with deep analysis and reporting skills.
* Ability to set meaningful metrics and assess performance.
* Minimum 1.5–2 years’ hands-on experience in Paid Search activation, either within an agency or in-house environment.
