Within Defence, the Intelligence Corps (INT CORPS) provides vital intelligence capability, collecting, analysing and delivering information to support the Army and wider Defence. Specialists in languages, analysis and human intelligence, the Int Corps plays a central role in protecting the nation’s security.
The role
We are seeking skilled and security-cleared Cyber Threat Intelligence analysts to join the INT CORPS, where you will use your skills to support Defence Intelligence operations at the heart of the UK’s national security mission.
Key Responsibilities
 * Threat Monitoring and Analysis: Continuously monitor, identify, and evaluate cyber threats and security alerts that may affect Defence IT systems and digital infrastructure
 * Threat Actor Profiling: Develop and maintain intelligence on adversaries’ tactics, techniques, procedures, motivations, and strategic goals. Capture emerging adversary trends and behaviours
 * Information Sharing and Collaboration: Work with the vulnerability management team and with credible external partners to ensure timely dissemination of actionable intelligence across teams
 * Operational Support to Army Cyber Units: Engage with Army Cyber & Information Services Centre (ACyISOC) elements to mitigate risk across military networks and systems
 * Knowledge Gaps and Research Identification: Highlight intelligence gaps and areas for enhancement across threat intelligence delivery, tools, and research partnerships
About You
 * Relevant Intelligence or Cyber Experience: Background in cyber analysis, threat intelligence, or security operations (e.g., serving with ACyISOC, Civil Service intelligence roles, or civilian cyber monitoring roles)
 * Threat Analysis Skills: Comfortable interpreting cyber alerts, identifying indicators of compromise, and developing actionable intelligence outputs
 * Technical Proficiency: Knowledgeable about malware, attack vectors, cyber espionage techniques, and incident response methodologies
 * Collaborative Operator: Able to coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agencies while maintaining discretion and integrity
 * Diversity in Thought: Adaptive mindset comfortable with evolving threat environments, able to identify gaps in information and suggest improvements with clarity
 * Professional Integrity: Operate at the highest levels of confidentiality, conforming with Defence and intelligence community standards
Salary & benefits
 * Salary: £41,772 - £45,484 per year.
 * Pension: Automatic enrolment in the non-contributory Armed Forces Pension Scheme 2015 (opt out available)
 * Leave: 30 days’ annual leave plus eight UK bank holidays.
