Interim Digital HR Systems Project Manager / Business Analyst
Industry: Drinks / Beverage Manufacturing
Location: Scotland (Hybrid)
We are recruiting an experienced HR Systems Project Manager / Business Analyst for a major drinks industry organisation undergoing a significant HR technology transformation. This business operates multiple production sites across Scotland and is part of a wider global drinks group.
This is a high-impact interim role focused on harmonising Time & Attendance processes as the organisation prepares to implement both a new T&A system and a refreshed payroll solution. The work you deliver will directly influence the success of a multi-year transformation programme.
The Opportunity
The drinks sector is fast-moving, highly regulated and operationally complex — and this programme is central to modernising HR processes across distilleries, bottling plants and office functions. You will be the driving force behind a harmonisation initiative designed to standardise how sites track time, schedule shifts, and operate payroll inputs.
You will work with HR Operations, Technology teams, and an external consultancy partner supporting the RFP process for new systems. This is a hands-on role combining project leadership, business analysis and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
* Lead the Time & Attendance Harmonisation Initiative across multiple Scottish production sites.
* Build and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and governance structures.
* Drive momentum — scheduling meetings, coordinating stakeholders and removing blockers.
* Work closely with an external vendor involved in preparing the RFP for new HR systems.
* Provide clear reporting and updates to senior HR and business leaders.
Business Analysis
* Analyse current T&A, scheduling, and payroll processes across the drinks manufacturing environment.
* Facilitate workshops and interviews to gather requirements from site-based and central teams.
* Document business requirements, process flows and future-state designs.
* Identify opportunities for standardisation across distilleries, plants and offices.
* Collaborate with HR and Technology to shape future system capabilities.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong HR Business Analyst or HR Systems Project Manager experience, ideally with Time & Attendance or payroll projects.
* Background in manufacturing, FMCG or similar operational environments is highly beneficial.
* Experience delivering end-to-end projects or leading substantial project workstreams.
* Ability to travel between multiple Scottish sites — the role must be Scotland-based.
* Skilled in project methodologies (Prince2, Agile, Waterfall).
* Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Why This Role?
* Work at the heart of a major transformation in a world-leading drinks business.
* Significant autonomy and ownership of a critical programme.
* Ideal stepping stone for a strong BA ready to move into a Project Manager position.
* Exposure to both operational manufacturing sites and senior corporate stakeholders.
