Senior P&C Trading Underwriter Overview
A well-backed and rapidly growing MGA is expanding its regional trading capability and is seeking a Senior Property & Casualty Trading Underwriter to join its Northern team.
This role is designed for an experienced, market-facing underwriter who enjoys building broker relationships, trading face-to-face and writing meaningful business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Trade and underwrite larger P&C risks
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with regional brokers
3. Be a visible and active presence in the local insurance market
4. Work closely with BDMs and senior leadership to grow a profitable book
5. Underwrite 100% lines with full delegated authority
6. Contribute to the ongoing development of the regional underwriting proposition
What We’re Looking For
7. Proven experience as a P&C underwriter
8. A track record of writing larger risks
9. Strong broker network and market reputation
10. Confident operating in an MGA or delegated authority environment
11. Entrepreneurial mindset and appetite to help build something
