Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a proactive attitude, ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment. This role is essential for supporting various administrative tasks and maintaining efficient office procedures.

Duties

* Provide general administrative support, including data entry and clerical tasks
* Manage incoming calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
* Organise and maintain files, both physical and digital, ensuring easy access to information
* Process invoices and manage basic accounting tasks using QuickBooks
* Support team members with various projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility in duties
* Assist in all aspects of the smooth running of a busy transport office.

Requirements

* Previous office experience is highly desirable
* Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
* Strong administrative experience with a focus on organisational skills
* Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry
* Familiarity with the Haulage Exchange and Transport software would be advantageous but not essential
* Demonstrated clerical experience with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
