Job Vacancy Job reference HS-JR-CCC1 Closing date: 20th October Job Title: Support worker/Personal Assistant Hours per week: 4 hours to be worked every fortnight on a Saturday or Sunday. Location: Dolgarrog, Conwy Rate of pay: £14.80 per hour About me: I am looking to recruit a personal assistant for my 19 year old daughter to help with her independence skills and to go out into the community. She is an active girl and has many interests from music, to football and arts and crafts. She likes to go litter picking and out walking. You will be required to supervise her at all times to ensure she is safe as she does not have awareness of dangers. A driving license and access to a car is essential in order to take her out due to our location. Task and duties, to include any or all the following: To keep my daughter safe as she does not have awareness of danger, 1:1 supervision is required at all times. To take my daughter out locally or drive her to activities to do things she enjoys such as litter picking, swimming, walking, cinema, shopping, cafes, football, watch music or bands, or do arts and crafts in the house. To get the bus with her to teach her life skills and independence. Any other duties not mentioned but that fall within the scope of this role should be discussed and then mutually agreed. Can work flexibly, adapting to the variable requirements of this role as required. The role is dependent upon a DBS and 2 references.
