The Purpose of the Role
As a Case Management Assistant, you will provide daily operational support to a team of Clinical Case Managers.
Responsibilities of a Case Management Assistant
* Research services, equipment, or goods required by clients.
* Book and coordinate travel, appointments, tickets, and service providers to meet client needs.
* Maintain accurate records of all purchases, ensuring correct client allocation.
* Monitor client spending accounts to provide case managers with accurate balance information.
* Assist clients in preparing for meetings and appointments.
* Follow up on requests for GP and medical records.
* Support case managers with administrative duties.
* Organize client meetings, including issuing invitations, producing agendas, and maintaining circulated minutes.
* Gather pre-meeting reports and summaries as needed.
* Undertake direct client-related work, such as establishing timetables, implementing strategies, and monitoring their effectiveness.
* Set up taxi accounts and book taxis for clients.
* Flag when goal sheets and risk assessments need updating or reviewing.
Skills and Experience Required
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including client relationship management.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence using apps and booking services.
* Experience working with disabled or vulnerable individuals is preferred.
* Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently on various projects with competing deadlines.
* A proactive, 'can do' attitude.
