The role
This role owns events and content for a fast-growing B2B tech business, with clear responsibility for turning marketing activity into pipeline.
* Own the events programme and calendar across the year
* Plan and deliver external industry events, including sponsored events and conferences
* Run smaller internal events for prospects and customers
* Manage venues, suppliers, budgets, logistics and on-the-day execution
* Work closely with sales teams to secure meetings and follow-up from events
* Build and manage a structured content programme aligned to monthly themes
* Commission, review and quality-control content produced internally and externally
* Repurpose core content into formats such as email, social, newsletters and short-form articles
What you will need to succeed in this role
* 3–5 years of B2B events marketing experience in the tech industry
* Proven ability to plan and execute events that influence revenue
* Hands-on content experience, either creating or managing delivery
* Strong project management and budgeting skills
* Confident communicator with a proactive, self-starter mindset
* Experience creating event experiences that engage IT or developer audiences
* Background in community-led events or high-profile brand activations
* Skilled at managing speakers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
