Your new role
As Production Planner you will create and revise detailed production schedules based on customer orders and forecasts frommercial teams, taking into account production capacity and other factors to ensure the plan is optimised and achievable.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be proven in a similar role, with examples of having improved Production Planning processes and oues. You will befortable as the link between shop floor production teams, and the office based planning andmercial functions. You will be a confidentmunicator, and able to handle detail andplexity while providing clear rmendations and plans to the business. You will have strong technical and IT skills including advanced Excel. Any experience of system upgrades (eg MRP / ERP implementation or upgrades) is a distinct advantage, particularly with a well-recognised system such as SAP Business One or MS Dynamics 365 Business Central. You will be familiar with relevant metrics (output, efficiency, inventory) and be able to use data to spot opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reductions.
