Responsibilities
* Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt lessons and learning materials
* Support literacy, numeracy, and emotional wellbeing interventions
* Build strong relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and independence
* Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
* Track student progress and behaviour, reporting concerns when needed
Qualifications
* Experience working with secondary-aged students, ideally in an education or support setting
* A good understanding of SEN and how to implement support strategies
* Strong communication, patience, and behaviour management skills
* A calm, empathetic, and proactive attitude
* A genuine passion for helping young people succeed
* A fully enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
* A CV covering the last 10 years with satisfactory references and no unexplained gaps
