Description
* Provide expert advice on employment tax matters, including PAYE, NIC, and benefits-in-kind compliance.
* Lead employment tax audits and reviews, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements.
* Develop and deliver tax planning strategies to optimise client outcomes.
* Manage relationships with HMRC on behalf of clients, addressing queries and resolving disputes.
* Support clients with IR35 and off-payroll working compliance.
* Work collaboratively with other departments to provide integrated tax solutions.
* Mentor and supervise junior team members, fostering professional growth.
* Stay updated on employment tax legislation and communicate key changes to clients and colleagues.
Profile
A successful Senior Employment Tax Manager should have:
* A professional qualification in tax or accountancy, such as CTA, ACA, or ACCA.
* Strong technical knowledge of employment tax regulations within the UK.
* Proven experience in managing client relationships and delivering tailored advice.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
