The Project: “Travel Service Development” – This is a new post funded by the Motability Foundation. This new initiative will support our older people by increasing and strengthening our existing transport services.
The Job: Otley Action for Older People (OAOP) is expanding its transport service to better support older people in LS21 with a range of disabilities and those with restricted mobility. We are recruiting a Transport Co‑ordinator to manage transport, lead service development, expand journey capacity, and improve accessibility across minibus, personalised travel, and appointment support.
Key focus areas:
* Service development and expansion
* Data monitoring, evaluation and impact reporting
* Minibus maintenance and upkeep
* Management and upkeep of all admin systems in relation to transport
We Need: Someone organised, proactive, and passionate about improving outcomes for older people. A flexible, dynamic, and personable individual with a can‑do attitude. Someone who can work as part of a team but also has initiative to work under their own steam. Excellent interpersonal, communication and I.T. skills will also be essential.
