A day in the life of a Bar & General Service Assistant:
* You will be serving food and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to customers, ensuring all health and safety protocols are adhered to and excellent customer service is always provided.
* Basic cold food preparation and barista duties.
* Stocking up, stock rotation, facing up, spot cleaning, washing up, cleaning dining and serving areas, both front and back of house.
* Operating the till and processing cash and card payments, ensuring you process any financial records accordingly. You will also be serving on the food counters and upselling products/sizes.
Previous customer-facing / food service experience is desirable; however, full training will be given on site.
* For this role, you must be 18+.
* Food hygiene certificate level 2 and Health & Safety level 2 - relevant training will be provided through e-learning.
* Good level of spoken English.
* Must have eligibility to work in the UK and have resided for longer than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role.
* Must have reliable transport due to the location of the site and limited public transport.
Aramark UK is currently recruiting for a Bar & General Service Assistant in their Defence sector to be part of our team at Cadet Training Centre, Frimley Park, GU16 7HB, with occasional support at RMA Sandhurst, GU15 4PQ. As a Bar & General Service Assistant, you will mainly work front-of-house, supporting day-to-day operations by serving food and beverages, handling till work, cleaning dining areas, and supporting both front and back of house. You will provide excellent customer service and report to the General Manager on site.
