Job Title: Residential Support Worker
Location: Kidlington, Oxfordshire
Salary: £31,493 to £34,495 ( inclusive of sleep in's )
Job Description:
A leading specialist provider is seeking dedicated Residential Support Workers to join their team in Kidlington. Key Responsibilities:
* Support children and young people in residential settings, ensuring their safety and well-being.
* Build trusting relationships with young people, offering emotional support and guidance.
* Assist with daily routines, activities, and behavioural management.
* Work effectively as part of a team to deliver high standards of care.
* Follow care plans and contribute to the development of individualised support strategies.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to care and activities.
* Participate in rota shifts, including long days and sleep-ins, to provide 24/7 support.
Requirements:
* Motivated, determined, and resilient attitude.
* Flexibility to adapt to challenging situations.
* Previous experience in childcare or residential support is desirable but not essential.
* Willingness to undertake vocational qualifications supported by the employer.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
* Age 21+
* Must hold a full UK driving licence
