Robert Half are pleased to be partnering exclusively with a rapidly growing start up who operate in the pharmaceutical industry to recruit a Financial Controller. This is a fully remote role. The Financial Controller will receive a salary of up to £90,000 along with other attractive benefits including a generous pension and private medical.

Primary responsibilities -
1. Preparing monthly and weekly ledger postings in Microsoft Dynamic's Business Central through to month end close.
2. Responsible for inter-company reconciliations and recharges
3. Producing full Balance sheet reconciliations and analysis in a timely manner
4. Preparing weekly Bank account reconciliations (JP Morgan)
5. Oversight of AP postings, processes, and controls performed by AP Analyst; including bi-weekly vendor payment run approvals.
6. Monthly UK, US & Ireland payroll processing and accounting
7. Managing vendor contract process and working with OHB finance analyst & department heads to ensure completeness and accuracy of reporting
8. Assisting in the preparation of consolidated reporting of UK & US entities
9. Preparing UK VAT returns, consolidation and compliance/reporting
10. Support the development and implementation of finance processes, systems and controls.
11. Assisting with preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with FRS 102
12. Assisting with year-end work including entity level reconciliations and analysis, audit management, statutory accounts
13. Maintaining MS Business Central GL (accounts, period close etc.) and participate in projects within the finance team and cross-functionally to deliver high quality reporting and processes
Key experience and attributes -
14. Minimum 2-4 years of accounting experience in a similar role
15. Qualified accountant with; Strong understanding of FRS 102 and ideally IFRS and US GAAPExperience managing the full month-end close process in a multinational, multi-currency organisation.Excellent analytical, reconciliation and reporting experienceSelf-starter with proven ability to organize and prioritize critical tasksExcellent oral and written communication skills
