We’re Hiring - Head of Quality – Yorkshire Region with travel across North
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Quality to join our organisation and lead the strategic development of quality, governance, and continuous improvement across our services.
This senior leadership role will provide strategic oversight of quality and governance across three care groups – Highgate Care, St Mary’s Care, and Marton Care. The successful candidate will work closely with Managing Directors and Senior Management Teams (SMT) across the groups, while reporting directly to the Board, ensuring that quality, safety, and regulatory compliance remain central to organisational decision-making.
You will also be responsible for growing and developing a high-performing Quality & Governance team, strengthening systems and processes to support operational leaders and deliver strong outcomes across all services.
Location: Leeds Office with travel across the North

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Key responsibilities include:
Strategic oversight of quality and governance across Highgate Care, St Mary’s Care, and Marton Care
Working closely with Managing Directors and SMT to drive quality improvement and performance
Reporting quality insights and assurance directly to the Board
Building and leading a strong Quality & Governance team
Leading regulatory compliance, audits, and quality assurance frameworks
Driving positive outcomes in Local Authority and regulatory meetings
Leading inspections, incident reviews, investigations, and service improvement initiatives
Embedding a culture of continuous improvement and organisational learning
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in a Head of Quality or similar senior leadership role
Previous experience within a corporate care provider or organisation with 30+ homes
Relevant professional qualification in quality, governance, health or social care (or equivalent experience)
Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, audits, and risk management
Ability to analyse complex quality data and present insights to senior leadership and Board level
Passion for improving services, outcomes, and standards of care
