Job Description Recruit A Driver is currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to work with a well-established timber manufacturing company based in Leeds, specialising in the production and delivery of timber cabins and sheds.
This role involves overnight trunking from Leeds to a depot in Scotland. A sleep cab is provided for all night-out shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for a driver with experience securing timber loads who is looking for regular, structured work.
Shift Pattern Monday Tuesday: Overnight trunking
Wednesday Thursday: Overnight trunking
Friday: Day run (no night out)
Start time each day: 04:00 AM
Up to 4 nights out per week
Key Responsibilities Trunking pre-built timber cabins and sheds from Leeds to Scotland
Securing loads safely using ropes and straps
Driving in a safe, compliant, and professional manner
Representing the client to a high standard at all delivery points
Candidate Requirements Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
HIAB qualification and experience
Proven experience with roping and strapping loads
Comfortable with regular overnight stays
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Pay & Benefits £18.00 per hour
£25 night out allowance per night
