We are seeking a skilled and industry-experienced Tutor Assessor in Brickwork to join our highly regarded Construction Faculty. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate trades professional who wants to pass on their knowledge, shape future talent and support learners to achieve meaningful careers in construction.
The Role
You will deliver and assess high-quality training within Brickwork programmes, supporting apprentices, employed learners and adult students to achieve their qualifications.
Working within employer-focused and skills-for-work frameworks, you will assess and advise learners on work-based and NVQ learning programmes, ensuring their progress is tracked, reviewed and supported effectively.
You will monitor and evaluate learner progress, develop training and skill transfer methods where required, and ensure learners achieve their learning goals within agreed timescales.
You will prepare engaging and differentiated teaching and learning materials, supporting independent learning and ensuring all students have access to resources relevant to their programme and individual needs.
You will maintain strong relationships with employers, acting as a professional and credible link between industry and the College.
About You
You will hold appropriate vocational qualifications in Brickwork and have strong occupational competence within the construction industry.
You will have experience supervising or training individuals in a workplace environment and be confident tracking, monitoring and reviewing learner progress.
You will be organised, supportive and committed to helping learners succeed, with a strong understanding of industry standards and expectations.
Teaching and assessing qualifications are required; however, support can be provided for the right candidate looking to transition into education.
