Job Summary
Sigma 3 is looking for a User & Systems IT Support Analyst to join the growing team; ideally you will have an IT background and a can‑do personality. As the first point of contact for all IT queries across a wide range of IT disciplines, you will configure software and hardware and support the IT infrastructure at all locations, with some travel and possible weekend support rotation.
Responsibilities
* 1st & 2nd line hands on assistance with staff, IT Systems & IT equipment
* Technical telephone, remote and email support
* Log calls in the helpdesk call logging system
* Diagnose and troubleshoot both hardware and software issues
* Assist in any other general tasks that may arise
Requirements
* Driving licence
* IT background
* Technical knowledge of desktop and/or laptop repair and maintenance
* Experience of Windows 98 / Windows XP / Windows 7 / Windows 8 & Windows 10
* Experience in supporting iOS & Android business devices
* Experience in supporting video conferencing facilities
* Microsoft Office and the ability to support users on Excel, Word and Outlook (Office 2010 to Microsoft 365)
* Basic understanding of networking solutions TCP/IP, LAN, WAN
* Excellent customer interaction with confident spoken and written English
* Experience in an IT support environment
* Logical approach to troubleshooting
* Fully versed in the installation of computer systems, networks and software; also able to analyse problems, develop solutions and repair software & hardware
* Crystal Reports experience
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL scripting (desirable but not essential)
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (desirable but not essential)
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Server environments (desirable but not essential)
