Full time HCA/Phlebotomist (Maternity Cover) urgently required for a Practice in Croydon. Dream Medical is working with a respected Practice in the Croydon area who urgently require full time HCA/Phlebotomist for Maternity Cover.
An opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Assistant to assist with patient duties, support other team members, assist the Lead Nurse and Manager. Your main responsibilities are to undertake the following clinical procedures:
* Check Height, Weight, BMI, Waist Circumference
* Blood Pressure Monitoring, Pulse
* Blood Glucose Monitoring
* Venepuncture
* ECG's
* Respiration rates, Peak Flow Rates
* Urinalysis
* Simple wound care
* Health Promotion
* Assist with Minor Ops
* Family planning
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of GCSE's, with NHS experience and be an excellent communicator, adaptable and a team player.
This role is full time, 37.5 hours a week, salary £17,500K FTC. This is a 10 month fixed contract to cover Maternity leave.
