Overview
To become a Learning Support Assistant in our Specialist Learning Support department, we need someone who is passionate, supportive, and flexible. The successful candidate will have the chance to acquire new skills and develop their abilities in a wide range of activities. We have a variety of students from the surrounding area; we are a welcoming and inclusive community that champions diversity and equality across our college. Although this position is centred on our Worcester campus, all applicants must be prepared to travel to our other campuses or surrounding areas as required.

Responsibilities
* Assist students in the classroom with understanding the activities set by the tutor.
* Support with spelling, punctuation, and mathematics.
* Support College attendance, retention and achievement strategies by providing a high-quality pro-active support service to learners who have learning support requirements.
* Ensure that all learners receiving support achieve as well as their peers and develop independent learning skills.
* Travel to other campuses or surrounding areas as required.
Qualifications
* Level 2 (at least) qualification in Maths and English, or a willingness to gain these qualifications.
