We're looking for an experienced Reward and Recognition Specialist to join us and help shape how we attract, retain and reward the people who make Ecotricity the cutting edge and exciting business it is. You'll report to the Head of People and be part of a supportive and collaborative People team dedicated to making a real impact for our colleagues and wider community. The work we do is varied and fast-paced, but always meaningful. You'll shape and evolve our reward and recognition plan that supports our People strategy. You'll collaborate across the People team and wider organisation, building strong relationships and making sure reward is well understood and well delivered.

You'll use data and insight to guide decisions. You'll also oversee a number of key strategic projects that will drive true change in the organisation.

With a focus on fairness and inclusion, you'll design reward policies that improve the experience of our people. You'll bring a strong reward voice to wider People projects and build networks to stay connected to best practice, ensuring we are the green employer of choice.

This role requires for you to attend our head office in Stroud to collaborate at least 3 days a week.
Core Responsibilities

* In conjunction with the People leadership team. develop and implement a Reward and Recognition strategy that supports the company's vision, values and business goals.
* Lead key Reward activities, such as pay reviews, incentives, and Recognition schemes
* Conduct market benchmarking to ensure our compensation and benefits packages remain competitive and attractive.
* Lead Reward related projects to deliver agreed business outcomes – this will be a significant focus of the role.
* Design, review, and enhance our recognition programs, ensuring they are impactful, inclusive, and reflect a diverse range of contributions.
* Work closely with the People team and other stakeholders to provide a consistent and efficient service to our internal customers.
* Collaborate with suppliers and other partners to ensure we receive best value, exceptional service and strong colleague engagement as a result.

About You
Essential skills:

* Experience in designing and delivering reward activities and solutions to a wide range of people across all levels of an organisation.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
* Experience implementing and subsequently leading pay review processes.
* Solid knowledge and experience of implementing and leading employer benefits such as pensions, life assurance and salary sacrifice schemes.
* Experience of compensation benchmarking tools and implementation of job evaluation methodology
* Experience of working with an employee engagement survey and translating the results into meaningful reward and recognition action plans.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and complex formulas) and other relevant software.
* Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team and as a trusted partner across diverse business portfolios.
* Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
* Ability to think strategically and see the broader perspective during times of ambiguity
